The Rest of April - a.k.a.Spring Rocks

4/19/2009 - Playing in the bounce house with Nana.

Alex played so hard that he fell asleep as soon as he sat down and was quiet for thirty seconds.

4/19/2009 We had a good time at Chuck E. Cheese after Nicholas finally settled down. He is terrified of the big stuffed rat, and screamed his head of for the first 5 minutes of our visit. The manager quickly removed Chuck E. from the play area and he eventually relaxed enough to have a good time. Here they are driving the bus.

4/25/2009 - If there is one thing the boys love to do outside, it is play with water. We've had an unusually warm spring, so we were able to get the sprinkler and water guns out early this year. Alex loves to get right on top of the sprinkler.

Nick has figured out how to use the sprinkler as a hose. He loves to soak us with it.

Easter/Cousin Michael's Birthday

4/13/2009 - Alex and Nick acting like they are cleaning the kitchen.
4/12/2009 - Easter and Cousin Michael's Birthday. Uncle Ryan (the brave) hid real eggs for an indoor Easter egg hunt. Nick found a ton of eggs. His favorite thing to do is smash the eggs in his hands.

Michael had a bunch of presents to open.

3/29/2009 We colored some eggs this year - not very many. Turns out that while brown eggs may taste the same as white eggs, they certainly don't take Easter egg dye as well. Must remember to buy white eggs next year.

Nick doesn't believe in using utensils for egg coloring (or really eating for that matter).

At the Zoo

3/28/2009 In the car, ready to go to te Zoo. Alex is wearing his racing car helmet.

More Nice March Weather

3/22/2009 Met Cassie and Michael at the local MetroPark. Running down the hill was super fun.
Went home and played with the bounce house.

Nicer weather = Outside

3/15/2009 - The grass may not be green yet, but it was warm enough to play in the sandbox. As soon as a sand castle was made, they'd knock it down, or as Nick says "melt" it. Not melt like snow -- melt like wicked witch.

3/14/2009 Playin' with the indoor gym, a.k.a. couch. Whenever Alex jumps down he likes to just lay there for a few seconds.
They are having a blast.

Miserably behind on posting - February Vacation

2/21/2009 Just out of the bath, the boys are experimenting with vinegar and baking soda.

2/16/09 at COSI. Alex drew his name. The A and the L are pretty easy to decipher. The e is the squiggly on the top right and the x is the plus sign.

2/16/09 - Maybe hard to believe, but the boys had still been sleeping in cribs - and enjoying them. We finally made the switch to toddler beds, and the boys LOVE them. Alex got the converted crib (he wanted it). But, he keeps falling out, so someday soon we'll probably have to get him one like his bro's.

Nick loves, loves, loves his Cars-Thomas combination bed.

It's all about fireman and fire fighting at our house lately! Got to have a lot of firemen and firetrucks to play with in the new big-boy-beds.
