12/3/06 Alex decided to put on my stethescope. I am truly amazed by what the boys learn just by watching. He also held the bell to his chest and said "boom-boom, boom-boom." As an intern, I'd really like to discourage this behavior, but as am mom, I just think he's so darn cute!!!!!

And he's clearly happier to use the stethescope than I am!

Christmas Morning

Alex is Awake and Ready to GO Nicholas is still a little sleepy.

This is why it is so hard to leave for work in the morning.

7/15 - Alex looking up at me with those big, sweet eyes. I'm so thankful to have the day off after working roughly 95 hours this week.

And Nicholas, with his funny little grin.

We played outside after Daddy came home from Drill.

Nicholas played in the sprinkler and then his wading pool - it was almost 90 degrees today, but he was still shivering after being in the water for just a few minutes.

7/1 The boys got to meet their brand-new cousin, Cassandra Mae (Cassie). She is just the sweetest little girl!!!! We are all smitten.

6/25 We went to visit some friends from the Guard who we haven't seen in a while. The boys got to play with some other boys' toys that are just too cool! Shannon helped them wiith the tractor.

Sharing is hard!

But eventually, they work it out!

Birthday Party Pictures -- finally.

5/20 The Family gathered and the weather was great!

The boys had lots of presents to open.

They thought the cake was interesting.Having not taken a nap all day, Alex fell asleep while he was eating his cupcake!
Nicholas stayed awake and enjoyed the ice cream especially.

After everyone left, the boys had baths and played with their new toys. What a day!
