It's been a very busy month in the Blum household. I just finished my Anesthesia rotation, and David is finishing Microbiology. The boys learned how to sit up on their own last Wednesday (yes on the same day!)and had their 6 month check up. They are growing well and are getting into literally everything with great enthusiasm.

First major colds

Both of the boys have been fighting colds - it's so sad to hear them cough! I took them to the pediatrician yesterday, and Alex is on antibiotics now for an ear infection. Despite the fact that they both have colds, there is still a lot of smiling going on around here. And, another big first: Alex's first tooth has broken through as of Tuesday, November 8th! 10/31 Alex on the left, Nicholas with the binkie
10/31 ALEX EATING SOLIDS!!!! It's still hit and miss with Alex and solid food, but he is (very) slowly starting to warm up to them.
11/05 Grandpa and Nicholas last weekend at Hometown Buffet. Yes, Hometown is our new favorite restaurant, basically because you pay before going in, so if the boys get out of hand, we can leave without any delay. . .

And they have great hot fudge cake.
